Got questions? Here are the answers to everything people regularly ask us, plus a few things you might not have thought of yet.
Do you have live music?
Yes! Local musicians and bands play every Friday and Saturday night from 8pm, from acoustic sets to full bands, and there's no cover charge. On Sundays, our Sunday Live Sessions run from 2pm to 5pm. Check the What's On page for this week's lineup.
What are your opening hours?
We're open Wednesday to Sunday. Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm till late, Friday to Sunday from 12pm till late. The kitchen closes 30 minutes before the venue closes. We're closed Monday and Tuesday for a well-earned rest.
Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?
We have gluten-free options including our scotch fillet, grilled salmon and modified salads. For vegan guests we can prepare roasted vegetables, modified salads and work with you on options. Please let us know your dietary requirements when booking so the kitchen can prepare properly.
How do I book a table?
Book online, call us on 0412 348 939, or email bookings@thetipsyheifer.com. We recommend booking for weekends and special events to secure your spot.
Is the venue family friendly?
Absolutely. We have a full kids menu with pizzas, chicken bites and fish and chips, all $15. Kids are welcome throughout the venue, there's a playground out the back to burn off some energy, and we have highchairs and plenty of space for families to relax.
What's your Parma Night deal?
Wednesday is Parma Night. From 5pm, our traditional chicken parma is $30 and all gourmet parmas are $32, plus a free pot of beer with every parma. No booking required, but arrive early as Wednesday nights get busy.
Do you have trivia nights?
Trivia is on the last Thursday of every month from 7:30pm. It's run by the Lions Club and entry is $10 per head, with teams of any size welcome. Book a table to secure your spot.
Can you host private functions?
Yes. Birthday parties, baby showers, wedding receptions, corporate events, we do it all. Function packages start from $25 per head with flexible options. Get in touch to talk about your event.
Where are you located?
14 Moe-Willow Grove Road, Willow Grove VIC 3825. We're easy to find, with plenty of free parking right at the venue, even on busy nights.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we have a wheelchair accessible entrance, restrooms and car park. If you have specific accessibility needs, give us a call before your visit so we can make sure everything's set up for you.
Do you cater for large groups?
Large groups are welcome. For groups over 10 we recommend booking ahead, and we can arrange set menus to make ordering easier and service quicker. Perfect for celebrations, work gatherings and family reunions.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome in our outdoor areas on a lead. Water bowls are available, and our staff might even have a sneaky treat for well-behaved pups. Just remember, no dogs on the furniture (that rule applies to humans too after midnight).
